EAST LINCOLN FARMERS' GRAIN COMPANY STATEMENT OF RATES AND POLICIES FOR 2009-2010 STORAGE charges are as follows: CORN: 20 cent minimum to 1-1-2010 2 cent per month thereafter - computed daily new minimum on 8-15-2010 plus 8 cent rollover charge BEANS: 20 cent minimum to 1-1-2010 2 cent per month thereafter - computed daily new minimum on 8-15-2010 plus 8 cent rollover charge Storage will be deducted at the time of settlement with the following exceptions: - Storage must be prepaid on commodity loans - Storage accrued to date is payable on September 1st for old crop grain carried into next year. Storage charges not paid will be subject to a 1½% per month service charge. CORN with excess moisture will be dried and shrunk. Corn for fall sale will be dried and shrunk to 15%. Corn for storage will be dried and shrunk to 14%. Shrink factor for corn is 1.4% for each 1% moisture. Drying charges will be as follows: (Subject to change depending on dryer fuel prices) - 4.0 cents per point moisture over 14% to 18% on corn for storage - 4.0 cents per point moisture over 15% to 18% on corn for fall sale. - 3.0 cents per point moisture over 18% to 22% - 2.0 cents per point moisture over 22% - Corn moisture and all grading discounts will be load by load. - Drying charges will be billed December 1st and payable by January 15th except corn placed under commodity loan in which case, drying must be paid when the warehouse receipt is issued. Drying charges not paid by January 15th will be subject to a 1½% per month service charge. SOYBEANS with excess moisture will be shrunk to 13% for sale or storage. Soybean shrink factor will be - 1.15% per 1/2 % above 13% Soybean moisture and all grading discounts will be load by load. No drying will be charged on soybeans. Soybean foreign material exceeding 1% will be deducted load by load. All discounts will be market scale at the time of delivery. Grain delivered at harvest that is not priced will be placed in storage 5 calendar days upon completion of delivery of each farm. Grain delivered after harvest that is not priced will be placed into storage 30 days after last load is delivered. After harvest, delivery sheets will be closed after 7 days if not hauled in on. |
